The publisher has had my manuscript for almost a year, and he’s been silent since May. I have no way to know what’s happening.
I’m thrilled to have had the work done with him that has been done. He opened my eyes to making the poems work together. I understand publishing takes time. It’s the silence that’s so difficult.
He was upfront from the beginning encouraging me to continue submitting. He only asked that he get credit for the form of the manuscript if it got picked up. I will gladly do that.
Submitting costs so much money. Well, we shall see what comes next.
